Why I Moved Abroad

I didn’t move abroad because everything in my life was perfect. I moved because I felt stuck .I was tired of chasing a version of success that didn’t feel like mine. I needed something different—something real. Since then, I’ve lived in Thailand, South Korea, Mexico, and Spain. I’ve taught English, worked remotely, earned my Master’s degree, and found a life I genuinely love. Not because it was easy—but because it was worth it. More and more people—especially Americans—are leaving the U.S. to build a more aligned life. A life with more freedom. More connection. More you. Whether you want to teach English overseas, find remote work, retire abroad, or just finally take that leap you’ve been dreaming about, you're in the right place.

I coach people through every stage of this process:

  • ✈️ From deciding where to go

  • 🏡 To find an apartment

  • 💻 To setting up remote income

  • 🌎 To adjust emotionally and make new friends/ dating

And most importantly? I help you shift your mindset so you actually believe this life is possible for you. Because it is. And it’s closer than you think.

My Journey Living Abroad

Since 2019, I’ve called four incredible countries home—each one teaching me something new about life, culture, and myself.

Thailand

was my first big move. I arrived with a TEFL certificate and a head full of nerves, but I quickly fell in love with the vibrant culture, the kindness of people, and the incredible opportunity to teach English. It was my first real taste of what it meant to start fresh in a completely new place.

Then I moved to South Korea

, where I taught in international schools and experienced the fast-paced, tech-driven lifestyle of Seoul. It was a challenge to adapt, but it taught me resilience, discipline, and how to thrive outside my comfort zone.

After that, I ventured to Mexico City

, where I interned and continued building my career. The energy, the colors, the warmth of the people—it was impossible not to feel inspired. I improved my Spanish and embraced the beauty of Latin American culture.

Finally, I made my way to Madrid, Spain

, where I earned my master’s degree and worked remotely. Living in Europe gave me a new perspective on work-life balance and showed me how rich life can be when you slow down and enjoy the moment.

Each country shaped me in unique ways—and every move taught me lessons I now pass on to my clients. Moving abroad isn’t just a change of scenery; it’s a transformation of your whole life.
